Anyway…

I just watched another episode of So You Think You Can Dance and I was struck by this guy’s routine. It seemed like he got a little off balance at one spot, but WOW! It immediately gave me chills (although I’m sure it was partly due to the great choice of music) and by the end I had teared up. He is an awesome dancer! I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if he won the entire thing.

I know that I never would have taken it anywhere had I stuck with dance when I was younger, but every year I almost want to take up dance again (especially contemporary) when I watch this show. Believe me, I know it’s not all fun and games, but it reminds me of how much fun it can be.

Wow! I just watched the cut. I guess I was wrong b/c he didn’t even make it to the top 20. That sucks.

Update:

So I recently saw this guy’s audition and I think he is just as good, if not better than the other guy, shown above.  At one point I was thinking that it seemed like I was watching a computer generated person dance rather than a real person.  Amazing stuff.  However, I wonder how far either of these two guys will go in the competition when it comes to doing something other than popping.  I’m guessing not very far.
