<description>I&#039;m interested in knowing more about growing a maple tree from cuttings. We have a maple tree that was here when my grandparents moved here in 1960. The tree is almost dead. Last year I got some seeds hoping to grow a descendant, but all the seeds were eaten by something. This year I was hoping to get more seeds, but the tree didn&#039;t make any. I think this will be its last year, as it only has one small branch with any leaves. If I could grow a descendant from cuttings from that branch that would fulfill my goal. I would greatly appreciate knowing how you went about starting maple trees from cuttings, as well as an update on how they did over the winter.

Thank you very much.
